“Creating Connections” Women's Event

Building on the success of our first Creating Connections Women's Leadership Forum (December 1998), we are currently collaborating with representatives from fifteen local women's and young women's organizations to create a Friday evening/ Saturday gathering to be held April 28 – 29, 2000.

Titled Creating Connections: Peace with Self, Sister, and Society, this two-part event will provide opportunities for women of all ages to learn from one another in an atmosphere of spontaneity and fun. The goals for this conference include celebrating sisterhood across generations, affirming practices of peace (inner and outer), and renewing our commitment to social justice. In addition to workshops, we will also feature music, art, drama, and poetry.
