WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP FOR PEACE


"Here is how I define peace culture: Peace culture is a mosaic of identities, attitudes, values, beliefs, and institutional patterns that lead people to live nurturantly with one another and with Earth itself without the aid of structured power differentials. That mosaic enables humans to deal creatively with their differences and to share their resources."

The Boston Research Center is committed to providing forums and other opportunities for women leaders to share their views on peace and global ethics based on the strong conviction that a fully democratic civil society must represent and involve both genders. "No discussion is complete without women’s voices," says BRC executive director Virginia Benson.
